The Item Editor focuses on the metadata that defines each data item and how it maps to storage. In this editor you see the item’s essential characteristics: the INI Item # acts as the internal identifier, the Description provides a human-friendly label, and the Data Type specifies the kind of value the item holds (such as string, integer, date). The Response Type indicates how the item is intended to be answered or captured, while the Add Type shows how the item was introduced into the model (for example manual or derived). Finally, the SQL Table / SQL Column title reveals exactly where the item’s data lives in the database. Together, these fields describe what the item is, how it behaves, and where its data comes from.

Other options refer to different tools or roles: visualizing data flows, creating Chronicles records, or scheduling data extraction involve separate editors or features and aren’t about detailing an item’s properties.
